We both loved our room, very big king size with spa n huge hdmi tv for his gaming n my netflix with free wifi. Dining with my hubby was amazing n friendly service didn't mind he's a cluts:) n front desk was very fun to chat with at sign in n checkout. Btw yay double shower in the bathroom. Make some great memories its definitely worth it came for a monster truck show at rexall, recommend walking we were faster than traffic.
all reviews » walking distance to Rexall Place for a concert. Being able to leave vehicle parked there for free, while we walked over for the concert. Restaurant on site, good meal, quick and good value. Friendly and helpful staff. quiet at night to sleep. Comfy bed and pillows!. Convenient location off Yellowhead Hwy. Good size rooms. Clean. Basic but in good shape, well kept. LOVED the PILLOWS!! They were awesome. Where can I get them?!?. The room was quiet, clean and very open design with the bed and sofa vs 2 beds. Location was near my destinations It was quiet Manager was very polite. The hotel is a quick 5 minute walk to Rexall Place. Breakfast was fair!. Staff. I liked nothing. view of the roof right outside our room. and garbage or recycling down below. NO VIEW at all of anything outside. ( we could have asked to move probably- but we were not staying long in the room, so its OK). Rm#204. The doors slam shut very loud - annoying when neighbors come/go during the night. Almost needed a car to get to any local conveniences ie grocery store, main transportation connections. Air conditioning on the blink. Not the hotel's fault. People having trolly races up and down the 3rd floor hallway at 3am on Saturday. Someone continually banging the stairwell door at 8am on Sunday. Busy location, Yellowhead Hwy at Fort Rd. Tricky to drive into and out of. we had to ask twice to get the air conditioner fixed. I had to program the remote because the TV was a cheap brand name, and even then the remote barely worked. The image was zoomed in and I couldn't adjust the set because the remote wasn't properly compatible with the TV. The air con tripped a breaker and the place smelled too smoky for being non smoking. It was all good. As per our email correspondence, Manager DID NOT replace the crummy clock radio as she had PROMISED. No airconditioning available Small rooms Over priced Staff didn't really know much about the area. The hotel has some updates but is very old. I wouldn't recommend staying there in the winter as you could feel the cold coming in through the windows. The shower is an experience. It has no pressure and is steady very hot then ice cold. The staff is not very friendly or helpful.. It was very noisy with Yellowhead Freeweay just outside the Hotel. Bed was way too soft. Was dusty, couldn't sleep at all during the night. I would not stay there again. The place was disgusting.. Run down . Holes in walls , stains on walls.. stains in carpets. Ceiling coming down, bathroom was disgusting and dirty. the room and the staff.when i arrived at the hotel the tv,the lights and oven is not working.when i called the front desk to tell my complain theres nobody answering the phone.i go down to the front desk and it took me an hour to fixed the room. My room was absolutely gross... The carpet was sticky...stains on the walls and ceiling and the lamp shade was so stained and dusty that I took a picture!. Restaurant service was poor. Had coffee with buffet breakfast & only saw the waitress once when she brought the coffee. No refills. Had to wait to check out because no one was ay the front counter. This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at, absolutly the worst. Im only stay one night I was a really but experience I have to book a different hotel next day I just waist mi money on that hotel , no ice on the machine , fire alarm on at midnight , very duty and the bed the worst at any Edmonton hotel even the ac . hallways where filthy dirty ice machines where broken room didn't get cleaned one day no replenishment of bathroom supplies sheets wrinkled and dingy worst stay ever!.
