Central apartment close to everything, not surrounded by tourists. Airport transfer easily arranged. Lina, who I dealt with,.was kind and helpful,.arranged a car hire day trip for me. Wonderful family., I was alone but the apartment is good for four people. I highly recommend for am authentic, local experience. great value for money, having your own two bedroom apartment in the city centre of Sofia, including all mod cons like washing machine, dish washer, etc., I was taken good care of, getting picked up from the airport and brought back there. Also felt safe in the neighbourhood.
all reviews » The apartment was lovely and, joy of joys it also had a lift, which was a big bonus. The views from the balcony were wonderful and it is situated right on the edge of Sofia centre. The location was perfect with everything that you could need close by. Good location, clean and big apartment with everything we needed. (I gave a low score for facilities because of the reasons detailed in the negative feedback). Excellent location and we'll furnished interior. This was efficiently run making our stay hassle free. The location was excellent and despite the description it was on the 5th floor and had a lift!. Easy access to shops, clean modern apartment, good value for money. Close to metro station. Spacy, we had head everything we needed. Great place to people (and mountain) watch. Spacious. the location and the appartments price. Friendly and helpful host, central location. The location was great. From time to time I had trouble with the hot water supply. Although the apartment was beautifully furnished it lacked the basic equipment for cooking a meal if you wanted. There was one plastic teaspoon in the drawer, hardly any cutlery or utensils, one very nasty frying pan and one pot. I would highly recommend this apartment but be prepared to take some basic equipment with you. this aspect of it sadly let it down. There was an outage of the hot water supply for 4 days in the whole neighbourhood. The apartment had nothing to do about it, but still, we didn't have hot water for 4 days. They didn't have a working water heater even though a guy came and tried to fix it. We had electricity outages, for 5 minutes for a couple of times, and for a half day once. But all this seemed like a one time problem. They only accepted cash payment. We booked three apartments, the third was in a different block and not to the same standard. Getting into the apartment was awkward as the phone number on the booking was wrong. There was only 1 5litre pot in the apartment for cooking with, although we requested a further pot / cooking facilities we were completely ignored. It is not set up to self-cater at all. Not ideal when travelling with toddlers. No view. With just a little more thought this could have been great, but a lot of silly things were missing (teaspoons, decent mugs) and a few things were broken (plate in the microwave). No plug in the sink and no salt/tablets for the dishwasher. the bathroom( bad smell), no elevator at all, it is an appartment not a hotel (no reception etc). There are no cleaning detergents in the kitchen. We cooked, but there was nothing to wash used utensils with. There was no hot (even warm) water and the staff couldn't do anything to fix the problem.
