My girlfriend and I stayed here recently for 5 nights in the middle of a 2 week holiday. Louis and Sandra are the perfect hosts. They're there when you need them but also leave you to enjoy the surroundings, happily lending chairs, an umbrella and a bodyboard for the beach.

We had a lovely warm welcome from Jorge and Marina. Even though we couldn't speak Portugese (or much Spanish) they went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and help us with onward travel plans. Very welcoming, (despite us arriving very late at almost midnight- sorry!). Large rooms, nice bathrooms, and outside a wonderfully natural feel, surrounded by big trees and the sounds of wildlife.
Even better was breakfast, freshly scrambled eggs, good coffee and homemade jams. With the owner there to chat to as well.
Superb all round, just a shame we couldn't stay longer!
