  We liked the fact that we could walk out the gate and see the historic center of Olinda. It was so convenient. The staff were very good and several of them were able to give us good information in English. We were so busy that we did not have time to take advantage of the pool except to enjoy seeing it from the restaurant.   I stood there participating in an Convention in the very near Exhibition Center. Being picked up at the Airport, I had immediately a guided tour by the very friendly Taxi driver - great. Once arrived at the Hotel, I had a very warm welcome. My spacious room had a balcony, a fantastic hammock and was located in a very quiet angle of the Hotel. Good location within walking distance of many nice restaurants and artisan shops. Nice swimming pool and grounds. An oasis in the middle of Olinda/Recife. As a bonus, on Sunday nights there is an open air "market" with many interesting food choices and the usual tourist fare.
