  excellent service There were just no problems with anything, a refreshing change from most hotels these days! Internet worked, service in restaurants was perfect, front desk was very helpful, bellhops were helpful, price was great etc. - I loved location, staff was very friendly, rooms are big, spacious and modern.   Our stay at the Ipanema Plaza was excellent. When we arrived tired (without luggage, lost by the airline) we were offered a room already at 0600 although we hadn't expected to check-in until 1400. Staff at reception was efficient and spoke good english, cleaning was very good and the breakfast was delicious. Our room on the Ipanema Floor was really lovely, nice modern furnishing and fantastic view of the beach. The hotel restaurant is really good and the breakfast was also excellent.
