  Fantastic position in betweem Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. We had the master suite which was perfect if you are travelling with a grown-up son. Fantastic view over the sea and Copacabana! I was jogging barefeet along the waterline every morning! Faboulous! Still it was easy to reach shops and the city centre by underground. Nice people working... what people say » at the hotel. - The hotel is directly at the beach and within an easy walk to Ipanema and Arpoador, both of which are nicer than Copacabana. The sea can get a bit dirty at this end of the beach but then it is a 5 minute walk to the above.

  All front desk staffs speak good English. Since this is a business hotel, rates on the weekend was cheaper than the weekdays. Use a yellow taxi if you go to tourist spots. They are honest and you pay by the meter. I used a car service that hotel offers when I visited steel plants that are far from the hotel. It is safe near the hotel. People outside the hotel don't speak English. - Great location if you want to hang around in Lapa. Very close to the metro station so you can easily go to Copacabana and Ipanema as well. (Request a high floor for best views). There is even a view of the mountains from the bathroom! Windows open so you can hear the ocean all night long... Very clean, quiet, double sinks in bathroom - marble and hardwood floors. Staff is excellent, friendly and almost all speak English.
