  Professionalism of staff-English speaking staff at front desk 24 hours daily during our stay-Dec.18-21,2013. My wife suddenly became ill during the middle of the night and the staff directed us to a 24 hour clinic only two blocks away with an English speaking Doctor leaving us very satisfied with the service provided by the hotel and the clinic. -... what people say » The reception staff spoke English and were very helpul in advising and assisting with tours, bookings of taxis and general advice. The room staff were very efficient and the restaurant was great with both breakfasts, and al a carte meals for dinner. The location, one street back from the beach at Copacobana was excellent.

(Request a high floor for best views). There is even a view of the mountains from the bathroom! Windows open so you can hear the ocean all night long... Very clean, quiet, double sinks in bathroom - marble and hardwood floors. Staff is excellent, friendly and almost all speak English.

The location is great, about 700m from metro, bus stops even closer, taxi's driving past front door at any time of day or night, very accessible, walkin distance to arches of lapa, and night life area. breakfast in the morning is delicious and a large variety.
