  We loved the Pousada do Vale, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was fantastic (fish night is a real treat) and although the bed was uncomfortable the rooms were nicely decorated and very clean! Their gardens are beautiful but beware the mozzies! The staff was friendly, professional, flexible, and made sure we had activities we liked. The food was excellent (fresh juice from fruits in the garden) and everyone was kind. The Thursday-night fish dinner was a special touch. The garden and hammock were great.

  We walked through the whole Porto de Galinhas beach and this one is definitely the best hotel there. The pools are great. Delicious breakfast, food and drinks. Perfect on beach placement.   We liked the fact that we could walk out the gate and see the historic center of Olinda. It was so convenient. The staff were very good and several of them were able to give us good information in English. We were so busy that we did not have time to take advantage of the pool except to enjoy seeing it from the restaurant.
