us for our onward journey which was a real help. Fantastic location
right in the heart of Pelourinho. (If you get the bus from the airport
get off at Praca de Se, take the lift up and then walk up the hill).

Nice location, nice view from the room. Great personal,, actually the European owners are so welcoming that you forget every negative detail about the city or your trip. They give the best advices, arrange airport transfer and nice chatting in many languages which you may not find in elsewhere in Salvador. They try to find solution for all special needs.

The staff was great, they gave a lot of suggestions for restaurants, activities, etc. The breakfast was amazing! Although the street seemed dark at night, it was safe with little bars close by and the heart of Pelourinho only a few blocks away. Great value for what you get.

Redfish is quirky in the best possible way: the artwork, the indoor jungle garden. It's small so you can get to know other travellers. The staff is helpful but not intrusive. The breakfasts are wonderful.
Salvador can be a bit daunting so it's good to be just on the edge of Pelhourino but only 5 mins walk downhill.
