  I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last 10-15 yrs as I work with the E.U. on several projects. I grew fond of this hotel especially because the owner (?) -a very polite lady- always made us feel very welcome. I asked about her when we stayed there last week, but the staff told me she comes to the hotel only on weekends. If possible... what people say » , please convey my greetings to her and hope to see her next time I visit Brussels. - The bathrooms were large and very clean. The beds were clean and comfortable --my kids liked the lofted bed area. Overall it was a small space, but that didn't really matter to us. We had a great view out the front of the building with a balcony.

  We are absolutely surprised by the theme color of the hotel rooms. Especially when we see our toilet paper are also provided in different color to match the theme, it is awesome. In addition, there is a clothes dryer in the toilet, it really deserves my compliments as a tourist in Europe for slightly longer than a week, we may do a little big laun... what people say » drying and continue the trip!   Extremely clean and modern, and very close to the Gare du Midi station. The neighborhood itself is not great, but I felt quite safe walking around during the day, and a taxi at night from the Grand Place area was only 7 Euros. Plus the hotel is so much cleaner and more comfortable than the older, more expensive places that are closer to the Grand... what people say » Place that I found the tradeoff well worth it. - we only stayed for one night on way to our destination and one night on our return but it was convenient to the bus station although the area from the station to the hotel was rather run down and a little worrying for tourists taxi cabs out and about are advised.
