  We stayed two days in a very pleasant hotel. Room was huge, very comfortable and very clean. Nice restaurant for dinner & rich Breakfast buffet. Above all, the couple’s running the place are extremely nice as can be and would do anything possible to please & help. The owner “insists” helping planning the days with a lot of patients & k... what people say » nowledge. I really cannot think of any objections or criticism. We've enjoyed our stay at Bürglstein very much and would recommend it to everybody ag - Excellent service at the hotel made it a pleasant stay. Wolfgang even went out of his way to help us book tickets to the railway train & gave us recommendations on where to go on rainy days, which was much needed with a 2.5 yr old toddler in tow. Our room was very clean, cosy, modern and well-equipped. There was a good selection at that buffet breakfast as well as a big collection of toys in the children's corner which kept our toddler very happy.

  It was a unique experience, just a super hotel. My room was enormous and the others in my party had little apartments. The staff was sweet and helpful - Gorgeous location and hotel, perfectly situated in the small city, and five minute walk to the sea.   The design of this hotel is superb! It has the charm, warmth and elegance. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We got upgraded to a lake view room and I wish we could have stayed there longer. The view is breath taking. The room had all the ameneties, bath room ameneties are excellent to the details. We had a good time there :-) Do remember to ask for a small router at the reception otherwise the wifi won't work. Such a lovely place, we can't wait to visit it again.

  The lake views from every window of our suite were breathtaking. This pension is in a very central location in Hallstatt, and we were assigned a parking place nearby. We loved the decor of the rooms, as well as the quiet, peaceful location.
