  Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Very affordable if you are looking for a no frills cheap room. There was no closet, small fridge or ironing in the room. The latter is available in the laundry room. Thank you so much for that. Missing was a kettle/coffee tea making facilities. A little too far away from venue at anz stadium. But great value for money.

  My partner and myself booked the shuttle bus for the following morning and accidently left our tickets in the room. We told the shuttle bus driver we just needed to grab a copy from the reception desk just inside. Rather than putting our bags into the bus whilst I ran inside the driver argued with my partner and said he "didnt have time for this" ... what people say » and drove away as I was running back out the front, leaving me and my partner there in need of transport to the airport. My partner and I went inside - My trip was due to a last minute cancellation leaving me stranded. From this perspective the internet facilities appear very pricey for modern standards/pricing. The late night KFC and 24 hour McDonalds was handy in terms of at least having something to eat/drink for more budget conscious customers. The distance to the venue was also within a very short walk negating the need for a taxi or even shuttle bus.

  Great parking just off main rd.excellent restaurants in walking distance then the night life bands something for everyone. - Loved the location right in the middle of Newtown. Easy to access public transport, restaurants and other amenities.

  I was very impressed I could book in at 11am and out my luggage in. Then my daughter snd i could get straight yo the royal easter show .Parking was very convenient. Bed was so comfortable. Have since recommended ibis to many people - We chose Ibid as it was nice and close to the stadium.   The location is absolutely great but the wonderful and 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude of the staff (management and housekeeping) was really refreshing. They made a basic hotel feel really welcoming, comfortable and like 'home'. If they could do anything to help, then they did and always with a smile.
