  Awesome people there.Felt so at home.Didnt bother us in any way. Helpful and friendly and gave us information on things we asked them about.And she let me stay in our room after checkout as my partner was moving all our belongings. - Friendly lady and gentleman in charge, easy to find, room was clean and comfortable and good value for money.

  We spend a couple of nights there, and honestly it was just an amazing time! The staff is really friendly and really helpful. The accommodation is really nice, with terrace, a nice tv plasma, a little kitchen, and a nice bathroom ( an really clean!)! Everything for a great price !   Didn't know the Ridgemont existed until I found while searching on line, a little secluded but close to most things around the city. My wife and I had an upper level room for 2 nights, brilliant view, great to sit on balcony looking out over Strand and Maggie Island. Good value. Requested 6 meals, 2 x 3 types,(on a night meals not usually served)... what people say » and was very pleased with service, quality and quantity. Great view from dining area. Didn't get around to utilising the pool, spa or BBQ are but the - Proximity to The Strand, a credit to Townsville Council. Room was clean and neat. TV needs replacing soon, screen pixelating continually. Reception staff (owners ?) were very helpful with directions.

  The owner was amazing. Arrived late for the check-in, but got great friendly service, with dining recommendations and things to do and see. Simple rooms, but clean and comfortable. - Would stay there again very relaxing.

  This is such a friendly hotel and the staff were so helpful it was a pleasure to stay there. Our room was pretty standard but good enough and very clean. About ten minutes walk into town which was far enough out to be quiet and peaceful from the night life.Loved the local connection to Papua New Guinea and the artwork at the hotel. Rosemary arrang... what people say » ed a boat trip to the Great Barrier Reef with Compass Cruises which was a fantastic day and great value - Location was convenient to the "Esplanade" and local shopping and restaurants. The manager, Rosemary, was very helpful. We arrived a number of hours before we were supposed to check in and our room was already ready for us. The manager helped us book our tours and even drove us to the wharf on the day, so we wouldn't be late and this was greatly appreciated.

  Magnificent accommodation and facilities this resort is absolute perfection right next to beautiful Lake Tinarroo and not far to townships. The host was lovely and helpful also.   Perfect location, perfect price for us. The owners where great! Very professional, lovely people, helped us with information regarding area, also I forgot an item and the owner (Yvonne) posted it to my home address. So so nice of her and I thank her. - The staff were excellent and very friendly. Will definitely be staying here again.

  Nice cabin with all facilities. Even wifi reception. Sadly it rained the whole time we were there, but if the wheater would have been good I'm sure we would have had a nice time. - The friendly atmosphere and very helpful staff, whom were of great assistance with day trip bookings. We did like it that much, we extended our stay.
