  Right from the start when I spoke to Noelene on the phone I knew we would be happy with our accommodation. In the last week before our booking, I need to adjust the booking as we had two more children to cater for. The response from T.V. (Noelene) was most helpful. We were delighted with all aspects of T.V. we were comfortable...everything was ... what people say » spotless...the children enjoyed the pool and we were a hop skip and jump from Toowong Shopping Centre. I would recommend T.V to my friends and will - The rooms were clean and a good size, the location handy for shops/restaurants and transport (trains and river-cat). There was a generous amount of laundry and dishwasher detergent provided which is rare! The beds comfortable, the linen good quality with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. We had a lovely view of the Brisbane city skyline from our balcony. The location is quiet and perfect for families. I'd go again.

  Everything about the Port Douglas Motel was excellent! The location was excellent, it was immaculately clean and the staff were exceptional. One of the best hotel/motel experiences I've had. Not to mention that the price was unbeatable! I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay there. - Loved this place! They say more than just a motel ... what people say » and how true! Wonderful beds,clean and great staff! Couldn't believe the bad review and think it was some kind of sour grape! We didn't need a car it is so close to everything. Big thank you Port Douglas Motel!   We stayed for the pet friendly room, will now be staying more often and recommending to our pet friends. The price was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was hot, and toast was still warm, lovely! There was a folder in the room with good local info. - Being pet friendly was a great thing for us. Not too many around ... what people say » that do this. Will stay there again in the future as a great location and walking distance to alot of eateries.

  Close to everything. The best pool ever with sandy lagoon and sitting tables around. Very refreshing after the long hot day... Breakfast was good, in addition to traditional choices (cold and hot) included some unconventional dishes tailored to Asian tourists. Staff was helpful and efficient. Michelle (Relief Manager) could not do enough for us from the time of booking on the internet, the follow up emails prior to arrival, arranging transfers for us, all of this whilst dealing with a very personal family medical issue.
