  We were a couple with a infant. We were recommended to this hotel by a friend. It had cooking facilites we wanted for our baby. T also had Air conditioner, car parking and wi-fi which we look for where ever we go. The staff (receptionist- I assume she is the owner) was very friendly and helped us a lot to plan our sight seeing. Worth for every dol... what people say » lar you spend - It was our first visit to High Chaparral, but hopefully not the last.The room was very clean and comfortable. Enough packing space. Bed was very comfortable.Kitchen area very adequate. Good outdoor BBQ area. Location great - near the Esplanade, shops and airport. Good price for the facilities as a lot of budget accommodation have shared bathrooms.

  Everything was Excellent. Friendly Warm Greeting by lovely staff. We stayed in room 60 which has a spa. Room is very large, small stove, microwave, Iron, Very comfortable bed. Just brilliant. When we stayed it was very windy and not a bit of rubbish anywhere. Well done especially for a place this size. Salt Water Pool, Gazebo and Bbq are immaculat... what people say » e. Plenty of parking. All staff fantastic including housekeeping who couldn't do enough to help. We only live 30 minutes from here and will make this - Location was good, close to a couple of nice restaurants and the marina. We had a lovely sunny room in the morning and it was clean and comfy. Easy to book on line. A suggestion to you is to offer guets the choice of having their towels changed daily, or not. We were only their 2 nights and would have been very happy to have kept the original towels. Saving you unnessary cleaning charges and helping the enviroment.

  We stayed in an apartment with balcony. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, Everything was clean and really comfortable. Price was great too.   Clean, comfortable, large accommodation, it was great to unpack and cook your own meals if you want to. A nice easy pretty walk into town, bikes available for free use. The owners were just the friendliest, loveliest people we have met, maybe because they are New Zealanders!! - The owner Jim was very obliging and helpful.   During the resent floods in Bundaberg we stayed at the motel because we had no boat left. The welcome we received was wonderful. During our stay the power went out and food was limited but they allowed us to continue staying and the even fed us. They even had a generator and allowed us to charge phones and computers. I can not recommend the Rivers... what people say » ide enough. You guys rock. When things settle down we will be back - The food was excellent and our room was spacious with a view of the river. Bundaberg is very different and would only recommend for a stopover as we did. The people however were very friendly.

  Staff were great, bathroom was very clean and modern, as we only stayed one night and had to leave early did not use the restaurant, maybe next time, free Wi-Fi worked great, is a must these days and will only stay at places offering it - Meals were fantastic and service was excellent.

  Family room was great with the 2 bedrooms - enough space for 3 teenage daughters. Staff were easy to deal with (and spoke clear english) and made changes easy - Meal from Capricornia Resturant was excellent. Glad room offered basic items like microwave, sink & plates.

  One of the most friendly staff what we met during our trip in Australia. From reception we got nice advice for other spot points in Rockhampton and a recommendation for there restaurant which one was a great advice.   The motel was modern,clean and very comfortable. Staff were friendly. We will definitely stay here next time we come to Rocky. We've found our motel - Very friendly staff, very good food in the dining room, good value for the price. Have stayed here multiple times and will stay here again.
