  My three daughters and I checked into Meriton Serviced Apartments - Broadbeach for a 5-day vacation in Gold Coast. The staff was efficient in completing the necessary paperwork for check in and check out. We arrived early and as the room was not ready, the staff suggested holding our luggage; that freed us to explore the area. The apartment was sp... what people say » acious, clean and well-equipped. Daily housekeeping was excellent. The location is ideal; a short walk to the bus stop and to Pacific Fair Shopping Ce - Do not stay anywhere else!! This is the perfection place to stay. Broadbeach is a real upmarket place with plenty of bars and restaurants. It is more low key and not as commercial as Surfers, which really suited us. Surfers is only a 30 minute walk along the beautiful beach. The staff at the Meriton are excellent. They helped with all our queries and booking trips and excursions.   Everything. We were upgarded without it being requested so that we had a quiet room. Reception staff were excellent as was the assitance given from the tours desk and the restaurant.   I had a king room with an ocean view and I have to say I very much enjoyed my stay here. It was spotless, cleaned every day and the towels were changed as needed. I love how when you open the balcony door, the a/c turns off automatically - good way to be more eco-friendly. The view was fantastic! Note though that as with any vantage point in the G... what people say » old Coast, most of it is sometimes blocked by tall buildings - I could see the beach but of course there were a lot of buildings around (but not a pro - The staff were so very helpful, I called the day before to see if I could check in early as we had a wedding to attend and didn't want to be rushed to get ready, they said it shouldn't be a problem and sure enough when wee arrived there was a room ready for us a few hours earlier then the checkin time. We also able to extend the checkout time to 11 am which made getting out after a party night that much less stressful.

  * We liked the position of the hotel room on the ground floor with a walk out to the pool * I loved my bedroom and ensuite, my mum had the other bedroom. my bed was very comfortable * we loved the value and the attitude of the guys at Pier Resort reception, who managed to get us our requested second night for a steal compared to the normal rate.... what people say » This above all else made the two night stay sensational. - These apartments are quite modern and fully equipped to meet the demands of the most difficult guests (ours had a washing machine, a dish washer, a tumble drier, a huge shower, a jacuzzi, two tv sets, free internet access, a fully-equipped kitchen, parking space, an adapter for foreign plugs, etc.). The view was gorgeous, and it's only a short walk to the pier and the marina.

  We've been going to Broadbeach for 30 years and love the Belle Maison. We have stayed at this Apartment Block in various rooms over the years. We just stayed over Easter for 5 nights and once again were not disappointed with the state of the room. We had a recently refurbished 2 bedroom Apartment that was huge! 2 large bedrooms both with bathrooms... what people say » attached. The huge King Bedroom with sitting area had a large bath, shower, double sinks, shower and toilet as well as a walk in wardrobe. At the oth - We needed a nice, modern, spacious 3 bedroom unit close to the Blues on Broadbeach festival for our family of 6. This was our second time with Belle Maison, in a different unit, but equally fantastic both times. Magnificent almost 360 degree views from mountains to ocean. Beautiful grounds, close to the mall, excellent for family of all ages and thankfully a strict no party rule.
