  We thought the staff were very accommodating. They really made us feel welcome. I also thought the breakfast was really good. Overall, a really lovely time had by all and I think we will definitely come back again. Also, the room was clean and a great size for all of us.   Everything. We were upgarded without it being requested so that we had a quiet room. Reception staff were excellent as was the assitance given from the tours desk and the restaurant. The resort was built into the natural environment and the wildlife (except the dingos) was welcomed.   The location in Lamington National Park and excellent trails, informative signs and friendly birds made it a 'must see' place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We saved money by not booking the meal plan, but eating a large lunch in their nice cafe and taking out a wonderful, ample salad to eat for dinner. We also enjoyed a pizza up in the bar on our last night. - We booked last minute while traveling down the coast. The location is sensational and the view from our room was really great. We were travelling with our 2 year old son and a cot was made available to us without any problems. The staff was really helpfull and friendly. Dinner in the Restaurant was also very good. Lamington national Park is a beatiful place and while we only could see little in the 2 days we had we were quite amazed by the area.

  We were originally meant to only stayed 4 nights but we stayed the entire 8 of our holidays! It is definitely worth the price you pay. Our room was serviced everyday by the friendly house keepers and were always greeted by the friendly, helpful service desk people. The people at the service desk will always help you book tours, taxi, shuttle bu... what people say » ses and all. Webber whom was a staff member was mainly a huge help to my partner and I!! The breakfast buffet is amazing. They offer a huge variety of - Absolutely loved our stay at the Rydges Esplanade Resort. The staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We checked in prior to 2pm due to a flight reschedule and even though the hotel was close to full the staff did everything they could to get us into our room as quickly as possible which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We had a mountain view room which had stunning views of Cairns at night. If your out during the day, I'd recommend this

  We booked for 1 night only and had two adjoining rooms which was handy as we travelled with 2 couples and 2 small children. Really nice for one night, excellent Gold Coast views. We ate dinner in the restaurant bar on ground level more for convenience with the children, it was a little pricey but that's to be expected if you eatin the hotel and t... what people say » he food was good. Overall it was a good stay. - Large rooms and bath rooms some guests obviously mistreat the rooms. Good buffet breakfast on ground floor however the revolving restaurant breakfast is not as good. The seafood buffet not as good as Watermark hotel and is more expensive. Would stay again however will not eat in the revolving restaurant ground floor restaurant restaurant much better
