  Location. Very handy to where we had to go. Would be a good idea to have directions as to how to get from motel to go back to flemmington rd cos you can't turn right at the lights. We got directions from a tradesman and then it was easy going. Can be a bit stressful for country people who don't know melb. - Staff were extremely helpful, nothing w... what people say » as a problem and they responded to all questions and requests quite promptly. It was great being right on the tram line and able to get anywhere in the city so quickly. Very quiet and peaceful, especially considering being right in the city.

  The hotel was very trendy, with unique artwork hung everywhere and anywhere. Our hotel room was beautifully decorated, and the bed was beyond comfortable, nothing like your usual hard hotel bed with stiff sheets. I honestly can not remember the last time I had such a good sleep in a hotel. Definitely what I needed! Free wifi a definite benefit although a bit erratic at times. Good location for getting into the city as tram just around the corner at Highett. Excellent experience would definitely return if we came again.

  Quay West Suites provided all that we needed for a weekend trip to Melbourne. It is within convenient walking distance from the NGV, Federation Square, The Arts Centre, Hamer Hall, etc, with lots of restaurants at Southbank. Car parking is provided with Valet Service which worked very well for us (although it is not cheap). Rooms with river o - The location was fantastic for exploring Melbourne - close to all the restaurants, cafes and shops. The hotel pool was beautiful and I really enjoyed swimming there during my stay. Buffet breakfast was included in my room rates and the choices were plentiful and a great way to start our day.Overall, I was happy with my stay.

  After a long international flight the Mantra was amazing. We arrived late at night so only spent about 7 hours at the hotel. But we ha the best sleep. Just what we need prior to an early morning flight. We didn't know how to get the bus to the hotel however it was only a $11 cab ride. From the helpful reception to my room to the spa, my experience was wonderful. Having found a reasonable rate on Booking, I expected something fairly basic, and this pleasantly exceeded my expectations. The bed was comfortable, the surroundings upmarket, the spa and lap pool relaxing. Quiet too.
