The hotel was very trendy, with unique artwork hung everywhere and anywhere. Our hotel room was beautifully decorated, and the bed was beyond comfortable, nothing like your usual hard hotel bed with stiff sheets. I honestly can not remember the last time I had such a good sleep in a hotel. Definitely what I needed! I also loved the eco-friendly complimentary products they provided (shampoo, moisturizers etc.). A very nice touch. Just a stones throw away from Chapel St, you have easy access to .

I just loved it..so close to great cafes, resaturants and shopping, wish I could have stayed longer but will definitely stay here again. Early check in Location Design. Walls were a little thin so at times you could hear the activities of the people above and/or next to you. The view of the construction site from our window was a bit of an eyesore. However if you looked up a little higher, you got a beautiful view of the Melbourne skyline. Nowhere to hang one's toilet bag in the bathroom. Fire Alarm at 1am because someone was cooking toast. However the Alarm was very effective. not a thing!!. The wall between the sleeping area and bathroom is frosted glass, which might put some people off. nothing. We went for a special occasion, so with the price if we were to come back it would only be for another special occasion in the far future. In saying that, I can understand why its so expensive, great staff, beautiful rooms. Nothing, except leaving. Nothing. No free internet Had to pay visa surcharge. being evacuated at 1am on a false alarm. There was nothing to complain about except maybe some construction noise across the street which is no fault of the hotel. Arrived at 5:00 and had to wait till front desk staff contacted house keeping as to wether the room was ready.The hotel site states checkin from 2:00 at least say sorry for the delay or explain that they like to quality control check. Attention to detail during room cleaning, as full rubbish bin bag was left on floor in room. Shampoo and conditioner safety seal missing and bottles appeared recycled. Nextdoor doors banging till the early hours one night. The area under the bed wasn't cleaned properly, could find belongings from previous occupants!. Glass bathroom walls, right next to the bed. Not soundproof or sightproof. I was not happy when I was allocated to a room with ugly views from the balcony in 1st floor. I paid $359 for a suite with a balcony. This tariff should be in the 4 and 5th floors. The bed was so soft that it wrapped itself around you and sunk in the middle. Poor housekeeping.. much better cleaning and presentation expected for this price range Basic items forgotten each day Building site next door... no warning. staff knowledge poor staff not well groomed restaurant dirty, bad coffee, bad food room not cleaned well.
