  Location was very central. It was a 4 minute walk from Kings Cross Station and 20 minute walk into the city area (QVB). The staff were all very helpful. We were arriving in the morning and requested for an early check in one week in advance by calling up. When we arrived, we were told this request was not put in and there's a surcharge of $40 for ... what people say » early check in. But after explaining our side of the situation, the staff waived the fees and found us a ready room in 10 minutes. The rooms were cle - I loved the location, the design of the hotel, the downstairs access to two wonderful bars, being close by to great restaurants, a short walk to Potts Point, to fashionable Paddington & to the beautiful harbour views of Elizabeth Bay. I especially loved the comfy bed, this is always a must when staying in a hotel, I love a good night's sleep.

  We were two young female backpackers and it was an experience we will never forget....We liked the staff (pretty sure seeing them all dressed like girls was probably why haha)...when we first arrived they offered us free goon....mmmm...played some games ;p had a night out on the town :) they showed us where to get pizza...great atmosphere... Soraya at reception was especially helpful and went out of her way to keep family in one room after I changed booking at the last minute. Awesome location, next to central railway and monorail.

  The very responsive nature of the staff. The purpose of our stay was my partner was having surgery at St Vincent's and we needed somewhere closeby - we'd stayed there before (2008 & 2009). The bed was a little hard but housekeeping changed the mattress!! We needed a late check out on day of departure and this was handled expeditiously.   Modern rooms, very clean. Self-contained units--everything you need to cook and do laundry. They even supply laundry/dishwasher soap daily. Excellent location, very quick walk to Town Hall and Museum (no lifts) stops. Our family of 3, including a 14 month old, had no problems traveling to/from the airport on the train with our bags from this hotel... what people say » . The cot the hotel provided for our 14 mo son was fine. He slept in it without complaint. Complementary internet was very good. 1GB/day and excellen - The views were great and accommodated the 5 of us very well. The shops, the Rocks and Darling Harbour were literally on the door stop. Staff were friendly and very helpful - I had accidentally left a make up bag behind and called up 10 days later to see if I had left it behind. It was found in housekeeping and promptly mailed back to me. I would recommend the Meriton on Pitt street to everyone, my friends and I are already planning our next girls trip and happy to have our accommodation sorted!

Awesome location, close to darling - One was not pressured into early rising to please the housemaids. We slept in late every day as you should on holidays. The near shopping centres were wonderful as were all the food courts and restaurants.There is no shortage of entertainment near by, as well as cruises in the harbour, sight seeing etc. The staff were friendly and curtious and we will definitely be returning on our next holidays. - The location is perfect! With a short walk (<5mins) you can take the light rail to central station and the bus stop with buses to circular quay (including 555) just in front of the hotel! Haymarket and chinatown are about 5 mins walk from the back door. Room is big ( for 4 pax), clean and nice! bed is extremely comfortable and the price is reasonable ( ~aud 700 for 4 nights excluding weekend)!

  This hotel is great ... We manage to secure a early check-in on the 1st day of our arrival. Plus the staffs are all so friendly, oozing the Australian Hospitality. The best part i like best of this hotel is the location.. location.. location .. just five minutes walk away from King Cross City Train, nearby to major tourist location like circular... what people say » quay, bondi beach. Easy access to supermarkets, cafes in the area. Plus they provide shuttle transfer to the airport at only AUD12 (cheaper than ta - Staff were friendly. Location was perfect. Room was clean and tidy with everything we needed. Loved the chill out computer room with free internet. Bed was really comfortable and we were not only able to check in a lot earlier than the usual 2pm check in, but we had been given a double upgrade. Originally we had booked the small double room and we ended up with the king size bed in a really nice sized room.
