  I stay here only 2 weeks but i love the staff and the friendly people! I leave the hostel because i have an appartment now but i return here every day!   This is indeed a funky little place, loved the paintings on the walls and doors, the atmosphere there with rooftop parties in King Cross intense nightlife area. About 20minutes walk from thr Queen's gardens and the Opera House, 30mins from the piers and city center. - People where friendly. In the middle of kings cross so going out was not a prob... what people say » lem. For $26 it is a bargain. Ample breakfast, and events going around. Ill visit the funk house again.

  Easy to book, cheap, can book for one night only unlike other backpackers - fridge, bathroom, shower on the room strict rules for noise (poeple behaved really good, no night noise) clean shower, bathroom and rooms lockers on the room electronic key (not card)

  The communal area was huge with free wifi and good sized kitchen, really nice roof terrace but would be even better if wifi was available up there, but then I suppose it would be packed every day! The staff were always friendly and happy to help with any concerns or questions.   We were two young female backpackers and it was an experience we will never forget....We liked the staff (pretty sure seeing them all dressed like girls was probably why haha)...when we first arrived they offered us free goon....mmmm...played some games ;p had a night out on the town :) they showed us where to get pizza...great atmosphere... And o... what people say » ur own bathroom :d woot woot!!!! Umm and yea it's just very friendly! - Customer service was superb. Soraya at reception was especially helpful and went out of her way to keep family in one room after I changed booking at the last minute. Awesome location, next to central railway and monorail.

  My favourite hostel where I always stay in Sydney, probably stayed there for 2 months in total. Location is perfect, staff is friendly, rooms are good and clean in general.   This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. The gentleman at the front desk (guy from Tonga) very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and have whitel linens. Unlike any other hostel this one has sinful beds instead of bunk bed. Has clean big kitchen, tv room. Quiet most of the time. Love this place and gladly recomand.   The location couldn't be better, in front of central station, very close to the bus to Bondi beach, very close to the free bus to Quay.... Loved the roof top and the possibility to make there a lot of friends and the constant friendly environment.... Loved the fact the hostel provides all kind of information to tourists and help in everything and ... what people say » specially loved the thematic nights the hostel organises, with movie night and also hotdog or burgher night where we can eat very cheap and all togeth - The staff were wonderful, very nice and helpful and the location is ideal being close to Central Station and all forms of public transport to get around easily. We also found that the guests there were great too, they all seemed to be really nice and friendly people. All up a really good place place to stay and would definitely book with them again. :)

  We booked a twin room and were given a set of bunk bed with a double at the bottom and a single at the top. The room was spacious and the location was ideal. The kitchen facilities provided are of a very good standard, however some guests were selfish and some food is stolen from the fridges.
