  This is indeed a funky little place, loved the paintings on the walls and doors, the atmosphere there with rooftop parties in King Cross intense nightlife area. About 20minutes walk from thr Queen's gardens and the Opera House, 30mins from the piers and city center. - People where friendly. In the middle of kings cross so going out was not a prob... what people say » lem. For $26 it is a bargain. Ample breakfast, and events going around. Ill visit the funk house again.

  We really loved staying at Regents Court. We stayed for a full week on a girls' holiday and both the staff and accommodations were excellent.   Great location, right in front of the metro station and close to bars and night clubs. It's also the red light district of the city, but it didn't bother me. The metro line is the one that goes to Bondi beach and the walk is nice to the city center as well. Hop on hop off tour is very close-by as well.   This hotel is great ... We manage to secure a early check-in on the 1st day of our arrival. Plus the staffs are all so friendly, oozing the Australian Hospitality. The best part i like best of this hotel is the location.. location.. location .. just five minutes walk away from King Cross City Train, nearby to major tourist location like circular... what people say » quay, bondi beach. Easy access to supermarkets, cafes in the area. Plus they provide shuttle transfer to the airport at only AUD12 (cheaper than ta - Staff were friendly. Location was perfect. Room was clean and tidy with everything we needed. Loved the chill out computer room with free internet. Bed was really comfortable and we were not only able to check in a lot earlier than the usual 2pm check in, but we had been given a double upgrade. Originally we had booked the small double room and we ended up with the king size bed in a really nice sized room.
