  For a budget hotel the inclusions in the room were excellent. Was impressed that there was more than one little milk for coffee etc. there was actually about 10 and not just one shampoo etc. the rooms were spacious and well appointed again for a budget hotel. the owners tried really hard to make the place value for money. NOT run-down or shabby looking like so many other airport motels. Everything in the room functioned too. Quiet enough for a city location and free off-street parking. Very easy to find. Perfect if you have an early morning flight out from the airport!

  Very handy to Prince Charles Hospital and staff went out of their way to be friendly and provided great service.   This was my second stay at Astor Apartments and I intend many more. The location is superb for travellers with out a vehicle as it is so close to Central Train Station, the CBD, South Bank and bus departure stations. The Astor Apartments provide excellent, well presented accommodation and apartments have everything you need for a great stay. Views... what people say » from the balcony over Brisbane are a delight - we loved it and we will return!! - We arrived at almost mid-night hrs all the way from Auckland. The apartment key & room allocated was well arranged and easy to access & directly to our room. On the following day, we realized one of the male staff is really helpful when we asked for an extra bed and the bed was there after we returned to the room. In general, the apartment is really well managed.

  Room looked basic from decor perspective but had facilities over & above what I expected (tea & coffee, mini fridge, iron & board). Everything worked & room v v clean. Asked for "high & quiet" room which I got. Arrived an hour early & was offered alternative room as opposed to original room booked which wasn't quite ready. ... what people say » Reception staff v efficient & helpful, location was perfect. All in all v pleasant stay, have recommended to others already! - Amazing for the price. I was a bit nervous after reading some of the negative reviews but this place is a gem. Cheap and right in the heart of the city. The room was small but perfect for a single. Air conditioning, TV, kettle, fridge, wardrobe, iron, ensuite and quiet. I've paid twice this for a comparable room in a comparable location. No hesitation in recommending and will definitely stay here again. - I read lots of very negative on-line reviews about this hotel; so upon arrival, I was apprehensive. But I was surprised - location was perfect for the price I pay. Service was good and my room, towel and linen were clean. I would recommend this hotel again to any solo traveller especially ones on business trips. I wouldn't recommend it to a family on long holiday trips as size of standard room is small.

  We liked the size of the bedroom. Everything was very clean and the staff was friendly. The location is gorgeous, a few minutes by walking from the CBD, a little bit more from South bank but there's a rental bikes station close to the hostel and it's very cheap so you don't have to take any transport if you want to visit the whole city. Marie - The hotel had fantastic friendly staff that went out of their way to help and make us feel welcome. Fantastic food, rooms were clean and well kept. Room had a beautiful view. The friendly and helpful staff. and very importantly that the management didn't try to cash in on the fact that there was a major event happening in the city and where other establishments had trebled their prices for that one night - as out of town travellers for such events that type of money g... what people say » rabbing is disgusting so thank-you Chasely Apartment Hotel for not doing it - I had a great time in Chasely and really recommend it. It has very good location, just by the Brisbane River about 30 minutes walk to the city, 10 minutes by bus and about 10 minutes to the shopping area. My apartment was very nice, a lot of space and fully equipped. Also, the stuff was amazing, really helpful and making my stay pleasant. I hope I’m back soon.

  It was handy to the cruise ship terminal which was what we required. They provided a free shuttle service to the terminal which, although the distance was walkable, it was appreciated. It was very clean and comfortable though the traffic noise was constant through the night as it is near a busy intersection. Staff were very friendly. I arrived very late into Brisbane that night, and staff organised access to my room, even though the reception facility had closed well before my arrival.
