I liked the "can do" attitude of staff and being very accommodating during my short visit to Brisbane. I arrived very late into Brisbane that night, and staff organised access to my room, even though the reception facility had closed well before my arrival. Excellent service!. The receptionist warmly welcomed us, which was lovely, and also made our stay easier by booking us in for our second night with no hassle and even letting us keep the same room. And so close to Westfield shopping centre :) Also free parking was a huge bonus.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, reasonably priced. Next door to Chermside Shopping Centre: we walked next door to the food mall for meals. Some under-cover Car Parking at no extra cost. Easy to find if driving into Brisbane from the north. Local bus-stop outside. The shopping centre was great. Close to the City, but far enough out of the CBD. Buses at the front door. Brisbane traffic is a night mere. Not a lot of thought put into the city planning!. The proximity to bus, shopping centre. The friendliness of all staff & their willingness to attend to our needs. Being able to do your own laundry. Lovely breakfasts. I liked the convenience of the motel and it's very close proximity to Westfield Chermside. the room was clean and tidy and had the facilities which I needed for my stay. The fact that we can park the car safely and do our shopping at the Centre next door; also that the bus into the city leaves from the front door of the motel. Location and the willingness of the staff to help us connect with other concert goers and book taxi. Nothing was a trouble. Very friendly. The location, along with the basic facilities provided and reasonable prices. We have been continually positive about the refurbishment which the motel has been undertaking over recent years. The room was spacious and clean. The motel is in a great location for local shopping and events at the RSL - and just far enough out of the city. So close to Chermside Shopping Centre, movies, food. On Gympie Road, easy to access. Nothing come to mind. Unfortunately the room had a musty smell (like most rooms). Rooms could do with some modernisation, beds on wheels and roll when you try to sit on it. While there is a toaster & microwave in the room there are no plates or eating utensils apart from teaspoons and cups. The traffic was a little noisy at times, but bearable. We had no complaints. The traffic noise at night. No curtains on the (upstair) window, when blind up, people driving past or in car park could see in. You could get a hot breakfast at the shopping centre for less money. Motel outside looked a bit run down. Walls and doors could be tidied and painted. The noise of the traffic. You only get enough milk for two cups of tea but there is plenty of tea and coffee. If I were to buy a bottle of milk there is no room in the fridge from all of the mini bar that I have no interest in. Could make more use of restaurant. pillows. Nothing. Some rooms could do with updating. It has been a long time since I have seen a plastic shower curtain with no actual shower tray. Noise from bar/people in other units until about 10.30pm. lol this isn't a bad one about the motel, did like not having enough time to try out the pool. Breakfast was disappointing WiFi not included. Outside appearance of Motel looked jaded and in need of a coat of paint,also some of the furniture units in the room were worn and needed to be replaced. carrying bag up stairs. Stairs a bit steep and narrow. Shower was cold in 208, no face flannel or toothpaste. no comment. Starting to look its age. Needs some maintenance but still very comfortable and clean. Road noise. No hand towel. Noise from other guests at 2.30 am. on a busy road and backs onto a busy shopping centre. the shower could have been better.. and the TV could have been higher so it would have been easier to see from bed. traffic noise. traffic. Internet was a little tricky to get. Bathroom taps leak, toilet seat broken, hot water takes ages to arrive in spite of notice saying save water. For the first time ever- we have stayed at Chermside Green on a number of previous occasions, we found the queen size bed extremely uncomfortable- too hard, and to make it worse the bed took off when we leant back on the wall. We were not the only ones to find the beds too firm. The bath was very old, and although I ordered a room with a bath, I would not use it. The lighting was old, and needs an update. The aircon was slow and we could not adjust room temperature.
