My husband and I absolutely love the way Julie and John greet their guests. It's like visiting an old friend's house: going into the living room, have a cuppa and a lovely chat, rather than the usual "business like" check in. It's the most friendly English B&B I've ever stayed. Owners Carl and Sharon were very friendly and welcoming. Property was exceptionally clean and room was spacious. Breakfast was great, always freshly cooked, with multiple choices available. We, and especially our 4 year old grandaughter, were well looked after. Location was close to the seafront, and an easy walk to the shops and train station. A very enjoyable stay.

We were made to feel very welcomed, and had as much help as we needed getting to and from places and finding out the best places to eat. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough to accomodate our requests. It was very close to Torre train station (less than a few minutes' walk) and not too far a walk into Torquay itself. We were impressed with the facilities the hotel offered and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - simple but nice touches such as offering us a drink on arrival and offering local information (eating out, transport etc).
