  I stayed in the attic room, which was very quaint and had a ton of character, I absolutely loved the room. The location of this hotel is perfect for relaxing or hiking, it is located right near the water with amazing views. It also has a bar and restaurant on site which allows you to sit, relax, eat and drink (with a good selection of cocktails,... was die leute sagen » whiskey, and local brews. The staff was very nice. - The new owners were friendly and trying hard to make all the guests happy; this included 'a wee dram' of whisky on arrival and a bottle of sparkly when our table for dinner was not ready on time. Very approachable staff; fabulous environs, warm, clean and romantic buildings and gardens. Loved the sense of history; staying in Flora McDonald's house.

  I had asked for quiet rooms, and it was quiet and I slept well. The manager was very helpful to me with Directions etc. The meal was lovely and the prices reasonable. The location of the Hotel was perfect. We will hopefully go again next year. Reasonable rate for single occupancy. - It does not look great on the photos but it's quite nice.   We arrived after climbing on Ben Nevis soaking wet and tired - very friendly and welcoming staff provided us with paper towels to dry our boots.   Courteous, thoughtful attention by staff. I arrived at 10 p.m. (plane delay) and had a most welcome meal provided. The day before I was leaving, a staff member came to my door, to remind me that it was time for me to go if I was to catch the plane back to the mainland.
