  I liked the very friendly staff, nothing seem to bother them. Tommy the manager is a credit to all managers.   I liked this hotel, Highland standards can be poor compared with big town hotels, but this one is very good, excellant by highland standards. Situation on the main street is good, with good parking. Room was comfortable and clean with a good shower (unusual in the highlands) Staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast was first class.... was die leute sagen » I didnt use the restaurant, but had a meal in the bar, food was good and the locals very friendly. I travel the highlands a lot, I will use this hote - Maggie was a tremendous help to us in lining up alternate transportation when our tour company cancelled our tour. She let us leave luggage at the hotel while did a bus tour before catching the train back to Inverness. I will happily stay here again!

  The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. They went the extra mile. The atmosphere was calm, organised, friendly, not stuffy, felt at home straight away. The bedroom was comfortable, clean and cosy.   This was a wonderful Guest House. The best we have experienced this trip to Scotland, perhaps the best ever experienced in all our travels around the world.   We arrived a few hours early, as our room was not ready we decided to head to the bar, there was a roaring fire and we were greeted by the lovely barman, we ordered drinks and had a spot of lunch, which was a simple sandwich, just what we wanted! The room was warm and cosy, beautifully decorated and a fabulous view from the window, - My husband and I traveled here with our 3 month old son and had a wonderful stay. The island is so beautiful and we very much enjoyed being in a remote part of it. We were in the main building on the second floor, so we had a lovely view of the lakes and wifi reach our room (even though I know they like you to become "unplugged" for a bit). The fireplace in the sitting room was so nice. We sat by it for several hours one evening as our son laid on a blanket next to it...he had never seen a fire
