Nothing was too much trouble and Chris even sat with us while we organised our days out. - This is a family run hotel in a very old English town. The hotel is located across the street from an abbey built in the 1100's.The staff was extremely helpful with advice, carried our very heavy luggage upstairs for us, gave us special attention at breakfast, provided excellent breakfast choices and made us feel super welcome. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Tewkesbury

They provided information on various outings were always willing to visit and fill us in on background for the area. Perfect location to use as a homebase for travel around the Cotswolds as well as trips to cities nearby. Also, the breakfast choices were superb.

There was an honesty bar, which was fantastic, and the hotel is perfectly situated for the theatre and trips into town. The hotel is well run with helpful staff and has comfortable rooms. The rooms are competitively priced and the hotel is convenient for exploring the pleasant town of Cheltenham. I would recommend!
