The staff are nice and friendly you get a good welcome and the owners will greet you when you arrive or see you off when you leave. You can easily get into Cheltenham by bus and there are lots of walks in the surrounding countryside. The hotel has a conservatory, bar and restaurant (which we didn't try but the menu looked attractive). There are plenty of books and newspapers if you prefer to stay indoors. The food was reasonably priced and very good, and the rooms were modern and quiet. I would certainly stay again. - The room was lovely and comfortable.It had everything we needed and more for example a dvd player and a modern feel with a plasma screen. The breakfast was great there were a variety of food and very well organised.

So when a light bulb blew I was delightfully surprised to find it instantly replaced without my even reporting it.

It is also close to train service.

  The owners were really friendly, and as they weren't full they gave me an upgrade from the smallest room on the top floor to a larger room on a lower floor. There was fruit in the room as well as tea, coffee and bottled water, and free WiFi too. The central location is great. - Everything - the very large comfortable bed, the spacious room, the spotless bathroom. The owner was very accommodating - I asked for a vegetarian cooked breakfast and this was prepared for me, and it was superb! I would recommend this hotel to others without hesitation.
