The room was spacious and well furnished. We had a street facing room but the noise wasn't bad at all. You are given keys to the front door and your room on arrival so you aren't restricted by times. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay (and remained so even though we had a blip).

Leading up to our break, David was so helpful, keeping in touch regarding our check in and giving details on how to find the hotel. As we were due to arrive at lunchtime, David arranged an early check in which was really helpful.

I stayed for one night at the Edinburgh Townhouse, and the single room with ensuite was very comfortable. The Townhouse is about a 20 minute walk from Edinburgh, Waverley Rail Station, and situated on castle Street, just off Princes Street. I enjoyed a tasty, continental Breakfast in the morning.

We arrived with our son who is wheelchair bound , and the owner couldn't have been more helpful. She even sent his breakfast up to him on a tray!!! FANTASTIC....The building couldnt have been more central!! All in all, a fantastic budget place to stay in Edinburgh. The owner should be very proud , they do a fantastic job, we loved our stay here.

Morag (the owner) was VERY nice and courteous. She greeted us warmly and seemed genuinely interested in what we were doing each day and how we were enjoying Scotland. Also, her breakfast was great and always waiting. Meats, cheeses, huge croissants, choice of cereals and juices.

Rob and Vicky made us feel welcome from the minute we made the booking, they were able to provide information that made our travel arrangements work better. It was no problem for them to allow us to arrive mid morning, Rod showed us a map of the city and was able to provide useful local knowledge throughout the whole of our stay. On our departure

room I had. It was very roomy and comfortable. The staff was very
friendly and accommodating. I inquired via email about a room refrigerator-
even though Valentine's didn't have one, I was told when I
arrived that my suggestion was taken and some were ordered
(unfortunately the company couldn't deliver it for my visit). Also,
I got a 2 page email with tourist suggestions after asking for some

Gutes Frühstück - Eveything, the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was superb and the rooms were beautiful, once we had figured out where the twon centre was it was an easy walk an we throughly enjoyed our stay and will deffiantely return. - Staff were excellent. It was very clean and the breakfast was beautiful. The staff couldn't do enough for you. Great for families as there was a fridge in the room. Great for couples or groups. We are a Spanish people living in Liverpool and we spent the weekend in this beautiful Guest House to visit Edinburgh. We went by car, so the free parking 24 hours was perfect for us( Its is situated right at the hotel), The most famous Edinburgh's points are in walking distance, no need for a car. the breakfasts were large with lots of toasts the bedroom was large the beds very comfy the en suite was large the location was very central and on a bus route we were given a map when we arrived with the attractions and to see we also had a night of Scottish songs and guitar from allan the owner who also told the Scottish history through pictures on a big screen which was interesting and easy listening music

Excellent facilities in large traditional Edinburgh house, central
situation with easy access to town centre and attractions. Very
reasonably priced for facilities and the fact that it was a Rugby
Weekend which usually incurs doubling the price by many other Hotels and
Guest Houses. Whilst the guest house doesn't do breakfasts there are
good facilities nearbye, although for this particular weekend the host
cooked all guests who were visiting for the rugby a great breakfast on
