  Great hotel in a great location. Sufficient amenities for a short break and excellent value for money. Cas and his family were great hosts throughout.   Wayne and Dawn were very helpful . We had taken our 14 month grandson to see the lights and nothing was too much trouble. Dawn even cooked his evening meal so that he did not have to eat junk. - This must be the best value guest house in Blackpool. Personal, friendly attention that makes you feel like one of the family.

Comfort was excellent, food was brilliant, table served and a different menu every day with a choice of 5 starters, main courses and deserts. Also had coach trips included in the price to shopping venues and mecca bingo. 95% of other residents were active pensioners. - The whole experience of staying at the Viking was wonderful, especiallythe fact that it is a 'child free' hotel and we had the freedom tosmoke in our hotel rooms that did not upset or offend other residents.It was also extremely quiet and peaceful.   Me , my wife and my 1 year old child stayed in this hotel during this weekend and I must say after reading an above review - I was very reluctant in booking this hotel! But because of the amazing price which was literally a bargain during this festive month! I finally went ahead with a weekend booking! Fantastic hosts who are so helpfull and the room we stayed in was spacious enough for 3 of us - Extremely satisfied with the location just 2 min walking distance from the pleasure beach, south shore and the train station. The rooms were good sized according to the price that we paid.the bathrooms cleaned and tidy with washed mats.   We liked the location of the hotel. It was easily accessible from the tram and close to shops and other amenities. Even though they were in the middle of renovation, we were given a ground floor room, and not inconvenienced. - Been to this hotel before, and will definatley use again. A lovel - Owner was very polite and charming, welcomed us in and made the checking in procedure easy. Rooms were lovely, small but very cosy and when all your wanting is a bed for the night it's perfect! Right in the middle of the promenade so perfect location with everything in short walking distance. Would highly recommend the hotel!!
