  The hotel is in a good location, very close to the old part of the city. Our double room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was also fine. The balcony overlooked the hotel's swimming pool.   We ended up getting a 4-person apartment because it was still cheaper than anything on the Island for two people. It was very nice! It was great staying right next to one of their 4 pools, and just a 5-10 minute walk from a very nice beach. The Beach in Son Bou is very nice, 17 Euro for two sunbeds w/umbrella. Good food on the restaurants we tried, but not any gourmet-experience.

  We stayed at Hostal La Isla in august for 7 days with the half-board service. Satisfying food - but don't expect a five stars treatment, remember it is a hostel - daily cleaning service, aircon+wi-fi, closeness to the touristic port, the city centre, a supermarket and a free car parking in case you rent a car. Friendly and kind staff. Believe me, ... was die leute sagen » it a good value for money and you won't get deceived by this hostel. - The owner was extraordinarily friendly and helpful; the double bedroom for a single person was more than adequate. Breakfast was lovely and he offered me choices of cheese and tomato on the toast - very Spanish and very nice. Location was very central but yet very quiet. Extremely good value. I will return because it's a beautiful spot and the people are so warm.

  We had a two bedroom apartment which was comfy and spacious. Kids room had a single bed and a pull out bed. Would have been better with twin beds. Kitchenette was adequate, but no sharp knife or small bowls suitable for cereals. Full size fridge with small icebox. Some balconies were huge, but ours was big enough for a table and four chairs which ... was die leute sagen » was fine. Pool area spotless and well maintained. Never a problem finding a sunbed. Mainly Spanish and British families. Didn't use the restaurant but - Quiet, good location, plenty of activities, perfect for families and all those who love peace and beautiful views, especially turquoise beaches surrounded by white cliffs. Cala Galdana is simply unique. Would happily stay there again.

  This fantastic old town house has been tastefully converted into a small period hotel. The decor is unusual and artistic, and we loved it. At night the abundant tea lights gave the lobby and stairwell a magical feel. Our room was warm and well equipped, and we had full strength WIFI at all times.
