  Hospitality of the Owner. Gave great information on Cultural Activities, Eating Places, etc. Design of Apartment, simple and small but beautifully formed. Balcony, view of the City and gardens. Location, very close to the City Centre, 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral. Clean, fresh and new. We loved the idea of having a place of our own while on vacation instead of being cramped in a hotel.   This hotel was a delight. It is situated about 50m from a lovely beach and our room and balcony overlooked the sea. The Alen do mar is in a quiet, secluded spot but is in easy reach of the town of Fisterra, with its many restaurants. The breakfast was full and delicious and the service was wonderful. A bag of clothes, washed and ironed for only 4 Euros, has to be a bargain! The people running t - Hotel was really nice in a great location right next to beach in the woods a short drive from Fisterra. It had a really new feel as did the room which features a large balcony. Breakfast was served in stages unlike the usual Buffet style and was presented well. Staff were very friendly.

  The breakfast was all home grown and amazing. The rooms were full of character, clean and comfortable bed. The pool was relaxing. Very close to a top class village and restaurant. - Everything was great. The staff was tremendous, as was the food and room.

  This is a fantastic place to stay. I agree with a previous review, it is more like a quality bed & breakfast as it is a large house that has been exceptionally well restored but retaining lots of the original features and character. The lady that met us at the reception was very helpful and the whole hotel was immacuatly clean. Excellent break... was die leute sagen » fast for only 5 Euro's, we were a group of four friends travelling on motorcycles and this hotel offers free reletivly secure off road parking. - Such a beautiful place to stay... the hotel and rooms where stunning. the couple running the hotel were really friendly and helpful. really comfortable beds, an amazing bathroom and just like staying in a grand property. A bit hard to find as there arent many street signs, which is not the fault of the hotel, but make sure you print a good map and directions first!
