  We stayed at the BB for one week in March and were very sorry to come home. We stayed in house number 17 it was clean and tidy and had a newish kitchen and two bathrooms. It had room for five people, however, although there are two bathrooms, the hot water is limited, totally fine for two, however there maybe a delay if five people were wanting a ... was die leute sagen » shower (as the heater will need to warm it up again).   We liked the location and quietness of the area, it was really easy to find on our arrival in playa blanca, and the fact that we could use the facilities of the hotel volcan especially the childrens pool which was much warmer than the villa pool. The villas were very well presented and perfect for our family. Barbecue zone. Free (!) and fast wi-fi. Very beautiful papagaya beaches are 10 minutes drive. Possibly there are some other beaches close, but we do not know as we traveled by car.   We found the location ideal for us. Aparthotel Rubimar is a leasurely 20 to 25 minute walk away from the main port of Playa Blanca. The walk is along the seafront, like a prominard but not in a commercial looking way. There is a market every Wednesday and Saturday just a 5 minute walk from the Hotel, well worth a visit. The indoor pool is a nice 1.3 - Perfect location, with bars, supermarkets and restaurants only a couple of minutes walk away. Excellent room which faced the pool and got the sun all day, which was great to sit on after a day out walking or at the beach. Everything was perfect, especially as myself and my partner were self-catering, and kitchen provided us we everything we needed. Have already recommended the Rubimar to friends.

  What a gem this place is! From the minute we arrived, we felt as though we were the only people who mattered. Dany and Joaquim who manage the reception made us very welcome. We were told the complex was fully occupied, but we saw only a few other guests and other then by the pool we heard no voices. The bungalow had everything we needed for self-catering and even though we planned to eat out, we used the local - The best accomodation (for leisure) I've ever had. Location: excellent if you're interested in relax and peaceful atmosphere, close to unique Papagayo beaches (15 min. walk) and ordinary Coloradamar beach for those lazy ones (2-3 min. walk) :). Two supermarkets are nearby (Roper: 2-3 min.walk, HyperDino:5-7 min.walk). Bus stop is right in front of reception. If you travel with children, the playground is 2 min.walk.   In comparision with much more expensive bungalows we used for many years in Lanzarote before this is surprisingly beter value for money. Blissfully quiet and offers much of privacy. Three swimming pools. One shallow for kids and one heated so we could have a swim even when the weather was not kind enough to allow us to swim in the sea.
