  Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre.   Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Man fühlt sich auch als Alleinreisende willkommen. Die Verpflegung war gut. Die Lage des Hotels war für mich ideal. Das Hotel insgesamt war angenehm ruhig. There was a small error in my booking (got a room without a bath), but was fixed the next day.   Great location, great view from the "sea view" room. Excellent food selection during both breakfast and especially dinner. Nice entertainment in the evenings.
