  Pension Alameda is family owned. The whole family is very willing to help. Some have limited English. The room is clean. As other have commented it is a bit noisy. But then you are based at the square which is full of life in the weekends. It didn't disturb me, but I imagine it might be a but noisier in the high season. Good value for money. Nice little streets - This place is located at Alameda de Hercules which is one of the most post popular places in Sevilla. If you like walking you can easily start your city tour from this place. You can easily reach to the river side and continue to your walk throughout the river. Or you may go from the inside of the city and see the city life.   Staff were excellent and so attentive, despite speaking limited English they were always willing to help - ie giving directions, extra pillows etc. Room was minimal but perfect for the price - had a comfy double bed in a private room that was quiet and had an AC which is all we were after! Location is A+. 3min walk to train and bus stations and 1... was die leute sagen » 0min to walk into the centre - we didn't need to use any public transport while we were there (about a 20min walk to the beach but it was a pleasant s - I had booked two individual nights, and could easily swop them for the same room, and the very kind lady at reception just charged me very little extra for the more expensive 2nd room. I had a terrace, it was quite (except the bus) I loved looked TV in the lounge (Eurovision) with other quests. I loved it is really near the stations. I highly recommend it!

  This is the second time we've stayed in the Hostal Santuario in the last 2 years. San José is a fantastic little town in Cabo de Gata National Park, and definitely the place to stay! You have easy access to the park for trekking, beach, etc., but also you find yourself in a lively little town. Whilst not overly large the bedrooms are very clean and comfortable, toiletries are provided daily and the mini fridge and free safe are a real bonus.   The man on the reception (although appeared to have little English) was very helpful and made every attempt to answer all our questions about the area. He even looked after our bags after check out until we were ready to go to the airport. The room was more then what we expected for accommodation listed as a "hostel."   The proprietor was genuinely welcoming and kind. When he saw how many bags we had he switched our room to the building that had an elevator. We had a large beautiful room with a terrace. The hotel is centrally located in the beautiful and fascinating city of Tarifa. We highly recommend this hotel. - The location was great for reaching the ferry to Morocco and for walking around town. Tarifa is a pleasant beach town. The hotel is on a paseo which is pleasant for walking and sitting during the day and late at night. Numerous restaurants open onto that paseo. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Our room appeared to be recently remodeled. There is a beach on the Atlantic side a few blocks away.

  The manager seemed like a really nice guy, always smiling. Unfortunately he spoke no English and my Spanish is horrible, so no real conversation. But no problems with check-in etc. Rooms rather basic but clean and I slept like a baby. Very quiet place. You need a car. Parking is no problem. Good base to visit Mojacar, San Jose, Cabo de Gata, Almer... was die leute sagen » ia etc. Restaurant has good food and I liked its western looks. - I picked it based on price, as it was close enough to Cabo de Gata. To our surprise, it has a western theme, related to the fact that several spaghetti western movies, including the Dollars trilogy, were filmed in the village. At the restaurant the food is good, prices are fair and they serve quickly. From our roundtrip in Southern Spain, Cabo de Gata wasthe best part.
