  The staff was super helpful, attentive and always keen to offer suggestions on great places to see and eat. The hostel, which is one of my first, was super clean and for the most part quiet.   The hotel is completely new. We had the room facing the pool area(cons of the street). The room was very clean with comfortable beds, with enough space, free juices and water in the refrigerator, tea and coffee maker with coffee and tea bags (refilled every day) and with very nice and clean bathroom. Near the hotel there are more than few restaurants where you can eat well at a reasonable price. - The rooms are nicely decorated, the hotel has its own personality, every room is decorated differently. We had a room on the top floor and it came with a large terasse and sunbeds. The bed was perfect, not too hard, not too soft. Location is great, just one block from Passeig de Gracia and Plaza Catalunya. Close to the lively tourist area, but still in a less crowded, noisy neighbourhood. Food at breakfast was good, large variety, it's only a cold breakfast. The hotel is brand new, we stayed on

Kitchen open all day for easy access to refrig, coffee, etc. - I loved the fact that the breakfast was laid out in a kitchen that was open to all guests all day. It made it feel as though you were staying in a home.

  My 2 friends and I had a wonderful 4-night stay in June at Zoorooms. Steve (the Manager) was friendly and informative and he gave us a map that marked out the sights, eateries and bus stops nearby. His map was so helpful, it was in tatters by the end of our stay cos we’d referred to it so much.
