  Good location - near various churches etc. Granada cathedral is a 20 minute walk. Alhambra is not walkable unless you want an 1 hour walk up a hill in 40oC. However you can walk to the bus stop (20 min walk) and then go from there. I got a coach into and out of Granada and the bus to and from the coach station goes directly outside the hostel. The side street where it is located is quiet, so it is possible to have a good sleep which is rare in Spain.Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. When we had language problems, the owner pulled up a translator online and we communicated that way. Only a short walk away from all the really cool parts of Granada.   Alle Mitarbeiter mit denen wir zu tun hatten, waren sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend (beispielsweise konnte man sich ein Bügeleisen ausleihen, Karten für die Alhambra mittels der Rezeption bestellen, etc.). Die Zimmer waren sehr stilvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet und mit modernster Technik versehen -W-LAN,integrierte Klimaanlage der neuesten G... was die leute sagen » eneration, LCD Ferseher, Chipkartenschlösser, etc. - Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hatte gute Fremdsprachenkenntnisse (Deutsch, Englisch). Das Hotel war sehr sauber, das Zimmer ruhig und nett eingerichtet. Die Lage des Hotels war sehr zentral, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten waren fußläufig erreichbar, direkt um die Ecke fuhr ein Bus zur Alhambra.

Great location, clean, nicely decorated and a well equipped kitchen. But what really put us over the top was the owner and his staff. Our dog apparently wasn't comfortable while we were out sightseeing our first day (i.e. barking) and instead of scolding us the hotel owner went way out of his way and offered to keep our dog in his office the next day. Absolutely unnecessary and I'm sure not standard (I wouldn't expect it again) but it goes

  The hostel situated on the 3rd floor, elevator is available so there's no problem with us having a buggy with. Wifi was great on the first 2 nights. On the main street of Granada (Gran Via) which suggest mostly everything is within walking distance, including the main bus stop to attractions.   This is a lovely apartment inn the heart of Albayzin. Everything Granada has to offer is within walking distance. The owner was a pleasure to deal with throughout.   I think this hotel was excellent value for money..very cheap and in a great location: 2 minutes walk to the cathedral...5 minutes walk to Plaza Neuvo. Best of all it was in a quaint, pedestrian only area near the beautiful Trinidad Plaza (square).
