The staff were really friendly and helpful,our double room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with en suite including wall hair dryer and the option to have towels changed daily or to re-use. Breakfast was fine but the coffee was machine coffee, however the dining area leads on to the public restaurant/c - The location was wonderful. Had very close access to everything we wanted to do and see. You could have an inexpensive quick meal or sit down for a more elegant dining experience and all within a two minute walk. The staff was wonderfully helpful and competent. Santiago was a tremendous help to me when I was have some trouble with my airline. Everything is easily within walking distance. All in all it was a great location. We did have a room that did not face the street so we slept comfortably

  I stayed only one night but I really like it and like I was staying for a long time...It is a home actually but really nice and really warm..I talked with Agustina who working there at nights and she was really nice and trying to help you(Thank you for everything Agustina)..there is shared kitchen so, you can cook your own food(its best way to sav... was die leute sagen » e money for backpackers) cleaning was good as well :) I will come back there If I come to Barcelona again..Hope to see you soon :) - Staff was really helpful and friendly. There's two different guest houses in nearby buildings, one is rather communal backpacker style and the other is quieter. I was in the former (without knowing what I was getting into), and they were easy going about moving me into the latter. Good kitchen set up. The backpacker place was actually pretty nice for that sort of thing, just not what I was looking for (I'm a bit older than that now, and like my peace and quiet!).

  Excellent location -literally 5 minutes walk from the centre of Barcelona. Very reasonably priced for a city centre location. Staff were excellent - very friendly and accomodating. Hotel is well equipped - it's a basic hotel with modern decor and is very clean. The room was really confortable and clean. The hostal looks to be very new, wich is good. The shower is perfect. For sure the best shower I used in Europe!! They have elevator, computers and small kitchen that makes your life easier. I really recomend

Jaime, the host, is so nice and helpful. His kindness is fully shown an - This hotel is very well located a short walk to the old city and public transport. The décor and fittings were all first class, very clean and nice. The rooms were very quiet even with a view to the street. The king bed was extremely comfortable and the tv had many English channels. The manager was extremely helpful and keen to please. There is no front desk nor is there a clear big sign identifying the entry, you need to call the manager to gain entry. The car-park is in the next block so if y

I was impressed by the quality for how much we paid. Great location for tourist attractions and just for wandering.   The people and the location is the best! - The staff was really friendly, towels and lockers free of charge were also a great adv. Breakfast included in the price! I would not expect too much of that though. Location is really good, max. 5 minutes walking to the hostel's entance after the metro doors close behind you.
