The room was small (typical for Spain), but with a high ceiling it didn't feel too claustrophobic. Good value with all the basics, plus a few extra amenities, like balcony and hair dryer. A/c worked well, which was crucial in mid-July.

  The hotel is in a quiet street so there's no problem getting to sleep at night or having a lie in in the morning. No grand entrance, but home like. The room was spacious, clean, newly styled, comfortable with a wonderful balcony view of the city. The hotel is about a block away from a beautiful archway and walkway, not covered on the bus tours. The neigherhood is safe and there is life going on up until 2:00 a.m., but it does not disturb the guests. We loved it. This hotel can accomodate those with who walk with a cane/walker. But some of the stuff like towels and sheets are really too old.

  The receptionists were very kind and friendly, I felt immediately like at home so my staying was exactly as I would that it be, relax in a quite place; Hostal Drassanes is in a good spot, not on a big traffic road, near to shopping for whatever you need, it's a very clean place with elevator, air conditioner, tv, wi-fi, bathroom in room. I could have stayed at the renaissance which was 9 times the price but why bother as I never use the facilities

The staff were really friendly and helpful,our double room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with en suite including wall hair dryer and the option to have towels changed daily or to re-use. Breakfast was fine but the coffee was machine coffee, however the dining area leads on to the public restaurant/c - The location was wonderful. Had very close access to everything we wanted to do and see. You could have an inexpensive quick meal or sit down for a more elegant dining experience and all within a two minute walk. The staff was wonderfully helpful and competent. Santiago was a tremendous help to me when I was have some trouble with my airline. Everything is easily within walking distance. All in all it was a great location. We did have a room that did not face the street so we slept comfortably
