The location of the hotel was awesome: right next to the Arc of Triumph (of Barcelona) and a subway station, and a few blocks away of the most interesting places for shopping, going out at night and sightseeing (except for the Gaudí buildings: La Pedrera, La Sag... was die leute sagen » rada Familia, etc., which aren't that near (not too far either)). - great location, very friendly staff, wonderful rooms well equipped...   The hostal is a very nice apartment (or two joint apartments) on the 3rd floor of a beautiful modernist house, with these old-style elements like shutters, tiled floor, wicker sofa, and separate taps for cold and hot water, and our room had a beautiful little balcony with forged railings. The hostesses, Maria and Martina, were very nice and helpful. Living in this real b - The entire hostal has great design features and the owners knew what vintage furniture pieces to ad in order to preserve its wonderful architecture. I especially loved the strained-glass windows and the original tiles in all rooms. My room was spaceous, with a great street view from the small balcony. The location is perfect: 5 minutes walk to Paseig de Gracia and another 5 minutes to Placa de Catalunya (also, metro stations and bus stations are very close). The owners are really nice and ready
