  Brilliant location - right in front of the train station, direct to Barajas, at the same time close to all sightseeing, easy walkable distance and away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist places. Scenery from 6th floor was very good looking towards Casa de Campo park. Room was nice and tidy and the bed was ok to sleep. Some small restaurants are nearby and the old centrum incl.   Wir fanden das Appartement sowohl für die fußläufige als auch für die metromäßige Erkundung der Stadt sehr gut gelegen. Es war (im Februrar) sehr ruhig. Dies kann im Sommer anders sein. Alles ist neu gemacht und zu unserem Erstaunen funktionierte auch die Heizung (Klimaanlage) sehr gut. Anfänglich hat uns ein bißchen die Innenlage der Küche / des A... was die leute sagen » ufenthaltsraum gestört.   Extrem freundliches und hilfreiches Personal. Das Hotel ist eigentlich eine Mehrzimmerwohnung im 3. Stockwerk und hat eine nette familiäre Atmosphäre. Die Betten sind zwar nur 1,90 m lang, aber die Matratzen sind okay. Und die zentrale Lage (direkt bei U-Bahn-Station Opera) ist einfach super! - Wonderful view. Great location. Very different to commercial establishments in as much as it is a converted apartment and was very interesting for us, a mature couple. We were placed in a huge room at no extra cost. Very clean. Quite an experience for us even !though we know Madrid well. - The biggest bonus of this little family-run place is its unrivalled location facing the Royal palace. Staff are very responsive and punctual and the place has the charm of a 18th century building.
