Gin and tonics in the roof top bar were very welcome after long drive.

As the Alhambra overlooks the city, if you do not like walking then public transport etc is advisable as it is quite hilly for the last half of the walk and would not suit every body.As we only used the hotel as a base and we

The bedroom is separated by a door from the entrance and bathroom (spacious with big shower and bathtub). It is really quiet, soundproofing seems to be working. Friendly helpful staff, lovely room, well cared for ancient building and gardens, great restaurant, buffet breakfast one of the best I've had. We went in the off season - Dec 2013 so had substantial discounts. We'll go back again at this time of year. The staff also made sure we got to the Alhambra on time - the palace has strict entry times. We would have missed it without the front-desk staff organising the visit for us.
