  One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Check in was simple, and the people were very kind. It's a huge hostel/hotel so it doesn't have the general "hostel atmosphere" in main areas, but I stayed in a female dorm with 5 other girls, and made instant friends! From a delicious included breakfast, to laundry facilities, free filtered water machine, and hot water for making tea etc - The staff we're nice and obliging. 24 hour reception and no curfew. The rooms were great and kept quite tidy. Bathrooms were kept very clean which was nice. Free wi-fi was awesome. If you want to spend your last day exploring- you can leave your bags at the hotel and pick them up later so you don't have to take them around with you all day. The breakfast spread was fantastic and we enjoyed the little extras of having some scrambled eggs. It is located in the quieter part of Florence (across the river) but you can easily catch a bus to the train station/city centre, as well as up to Piazza Michelangelo (tickets cost €1.20 for 90 mins).
