  One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Check in was simple, and the people were very kind. It's a huge hostel/hotel so it doesn't have the general "hostel atmosphere" in main areas, but I stayed in a female dorm with 5 other girls, and made instant friends! Also the most impressive part of this hostel/hotel is that they have just about every c... wat mensen zeggen » onvenience you can imagine! From a delicious included breakfast, to laundry facilities, free filtered water machine, and hot water for making tea etc - The staff we're nice and obliging. 24 hour reception and no curfew. The rooms were great and kept quite tidy. Bathrooms were kept very clean which was nice. Free wi-fi was awesome. If you want to spend your last day exploring- you can leave your bags at the hotel and pick them up later so you don't have to take them around with you all day.   The room was so beautiful and fully equipped. Although the bathrooms are shared, they are clean and nice designed. Breakfast is included and there is a fridge and microwave oven for you to use. The hotel is located very near the central station and market is in walking distance. - Very welcoming. The breakfast provided in your room daily was also nice which consisted of choice of coffee or juice and some small pastries.

  The room was a good size - double for one and comfortable. The bathroomwas very nicely appointed and clean. The breakfast was good with anassortment of espresso options. They had an English speaking staffmember available at all times and all of the front desk staff waspersonable.

The breakfast spread was fantastic and we enjoyed the little extras of having some scrambled eggs. It is located in the quieter part of Florence (across the river) but you can easily catch a bus to the train station/city centre, as well as up to Piazza Michelangelo (tickets cost €1.20 for 90 mins).

  For my experience, the price/value ratio was excellent. Please keep in mind you are not paying for a 5 start hotel, so it simply is not fair to go in with such expectations. After a long day in the attraction you can relax in your room looking the river and the other side of the town. Few blocks away from the train terminal and attraction.
