  Having spent 40+ weeks a year (for over 20 years) in hotels very much like this one I can honestly say that the staff here are in a class of their own. Only once every few years do I find such a well run operation full of such friendly, helpful and capable people.   This is a 12 room family run hotel on large forested property right on 12 mile Lake. It has its own boat dock. It is Adults Only. 10 of the 12 rooms have beautiful lake views. They made us feel welcome and were very attentive to all their guests without being intrusive in any way. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfasts were delicious, generous portions, and enjoyed while watching the birds and squirrel just beyond the deck.

  We went with two families and the units were perfect for us to be together but still have our own space. I loved the fact that it had a kitchen which allowed us to bring all our own food, and make the vacation affordable.
