  That they were helpful in putting our bags behind the counter when we were early for check-in, never gave us a hard time, always available.   Last year I stayed at a B&B and we paid $250 a night and I didn't like the breakfast or the room. I stayed sept 7 one night at Super 8 and I liked it, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the breakfast was great.   I had a nice little 4 room suite for less than $100!!! That is good value! There was a living room with cable tv, a small kitchenette with fridge, stove, and utensils (including a real cast-iron frying pan!), and a bathroom and bedroom. There is city-bus service just on the street in front of - We were a group of 14 people staying in this motel for one night. Everyone in the group was satisfied for the amount we paid. Despite some of the reviews we read before saying that there's a bad smell around, non of us had such an experience. Maybe we were lucky, or the problem has been solved somehow.   This is a beautifully-maintained older motel with unusually large comfortable rooms. The owners were polite and helpful. The location is excellent if you do not demand to stay in Victoria's compact and enjoyable center city, This motel is an easy car or bus ride to the most main attractions and next to a mall with a diverse food court. Dennys and at least 2 other restaurants are within 2 blocks. Close to bus stops, but located on a quiet street - no traffic noise at night. Owners very helpful.
