When I asked for a quiet room, they put me on the top floor and it WAS a quiet, beautifully appointed, newly decorated room that gave me the serenity I was seeking. They arranged for airport transportation and stored my luggage after checkout—all with a smile.

The location is perfect. It's close to the Inner Harbour, BC Parliament Building and the famous Fairmount Empress. Walking less than five minutes, you will be at the coast. I really liked how they stored my suitcase before check in so I could do my work and same thing after I checked out. I didn't have to pack my luggage to a business meeting. Also the convenience of the location being right downtown Victoria almost next to the museum and archives was a tremendous bonus. I liked how they put me in a room on the 14th floor which gave me the best views ever.

Our experience at the Union Club was nothing but positive, the rooms were small but comfortable and the service in the restuarant was excellent as was the food. Awesome price for downtown Victoria and included breakfast that you could order off the menu not a continental style. The waiter was suburb. Would definitly stay again, also the no cell phones in the common area was very refreshing to say the least.

The hotel was beautiful, well done reno's, the lobby is gorgeous, we stayed in an older room with older t.v. and furnishings, but was everything we needed, we spent the only time in the room sleeping, so the bed was comfortable, clean and had free wi'fi, so I could post my pics on FB as we travelled, only thing I would request going forward, is coffee offered to guests that get up before 7:30 am, when breakfast is served, we are early risers, 7Eleven is 1/2 a block away, and was a nice walk in
