The decor--it was fresh and modern, not old and stuffy the way other hotel interiors looked online. The room--unique layout but, again, fresh and modern. Loved the lighting, the desk with free internet access, the lounging area, the modern bathrooms, the comfy beds, the high def flat screen tv--i loved it all! The outside heated pool and hot tub--made for great relaxation after a long commute or long day of walking. The breakfast bar--offered anything and everything I like for breakfast. The st.
所有评语 » The staff were amazing and accommodated our every need! The cost of staying in historic Savannah was offset by the free continental breakfast for our family of five. Valet parking and a never ending supply of fresh coffee in the lobby were just a few of the perks we enjoyed. I highly recommend this hotel and the carriage tours of savannah for a must do while in the city. Our tour guide was extreemely knowledgable and even captured the kid's attention with his animated history lesson. River str. Love the modern decor. The rooms were so comfortable with a sectional couch, pull up tables, desk, and bedding. The cotton bedding was clean and comfy. The tv could be viewed from the couch area or from the bed. The breakfast was great every morning, loved the oatmeal bar the best! Staff was very very friendly from the valet parking to the desk. Would rate this a five star and would stay there again. The room was huge and really well-appointed. Everything was modern, fresh and comfortable. Excellent choice at breakfast, including eggs, sausages, fresh fruit and selection of bread/muffins etc. We also liked that we could get hot drinks at any time. Perfect location right in the middle of the historic area so we were able to walk everywhere but also very quiet. Wonderful location, in walking distance to everything you'd want to see in Savannah, and right across the street from SCAD. Valet parking is just $20 a day, with in and out services, although we didn't need our car from the time we checked in until we checked out. The rooms are very roomy, modern design, and I like the separate toilet room from the shower. Great location - two blocks to the major shopping street, three to city market. A very easy walk, about 7 minutes to city market. From there it was really close to the Riverwalk. Our room was large, modern, and on the first floor (corner) but very quiet. Really liked the separate sitting area. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Concierge was great. I have stayed in hotels all around the world, including several Marriotts; I was pleasantly surprised at the overall cleanliness of the facility, and the modern and efficient layout of the rooms. I had no complaints and would definitely stay there again the next time I'm in Savannah. My room was beautiful and spacious a very relaxing space. It made my business trip feel a little more like a short vacation, even though I was working most of the time I was there. If I ever have to travel to Savannah again I will make sure to stay at Springhill Suites. Thank You. Love the friendly people of savanna. Savanna has good food,great history ,nice restaurants,organized tours,nice weather and relaxed people who are tourist friendly. We very much like the layout of the room, particularly that there were 2 sinks and that the shower and toilet were located in different rooms. It makes it easy for 2 people to get ready at the same time. Your staff was friendly and the concierge gave us valuable information. The room and how it was decorated in a modern style, the bed and how soft it was and all the pillows. Very clean, inviting room. Nothing much to complain about. Need more choices of meat on the complimentary breakfast bar. Had only turkey sausage (which I'm fine with), but my husband doesn't eat that and only other meat was little tiny round pieces of ham. I think they need to have some bacon on the bar. There was no butter for the grits, but I didn't ask for it either, but I think it should've been on the bar. The breakfast was just OK. Prices were too high due to local university graduation time frame. It was a longer walk than expected to River Street but the City Market was close. With the hotel being in the Marriott family I expected a better breakfast. Only minor complaint...wished there were nightstands on both sides of King Bed. The room was not very clean. my girlfirend had to scrub the shower because of "curly hairs" yuk... And we got a parking ticket because we did not know we had to pay the meter or what times we had to pay. I thought there was supposed to be parking? Also, the sliding doors in the room would not stay shut and the room was very dimly lit. No time limit enforced on access to the hotel pool which could be problem for rooms around that area. Breakfast area got very crowded. Could have alternating choice of the hit breakfast on different days. Recommend having a contracted taxi service with acst price schedule. The taxi they called had no change and got $5 more that way. The battery in our card key reader went dead and we got looked out for a couple of hours while they drilled in our door. Nothing. Didn't look quite as "fresh" as the internet pictures with the flowing curtains, etc. You can tell it's been around for a while-could use a freshening up!. Front desk staff did not tell us that our room key would get us discounts in some of the local restaurants. $20.00/day to park expensive. I'd rather not have to pay $20 per night to park, but it is downtown, so you can't expect parking to be free. It rained!. The group of young adults (or older teenagers) who partied and woke us numerous times throughout both nights. It was very inconsiderate of them. Perhaps future bookings for a crowd of that age should have a wing all to themselves. There were stains on the bathroom wall and shower curtain. I really can't think of anything to complain about. The pull out sofa mattress was poor quality. You need to supply some sort of topper or egg shell to go on top of the mattress. No negatives. There were no towel bars in the shower room. There was nothing not to like!. Needs bigger eating area..breakfast line extended well into the lobby with little seating area to accommodate crowd. Reserved crib but on check-in crib had been given to another guest. don't go to swim, pool very small. Maid service very bad. Should include the price for valet. I did not want to leave. breakfest was not the highlight.
