  The hotel was in the perfect place to enjoy down town life whilst also being far enough from the main drag for the hotel to be quiet and peaceful; the facilities were excellent; the log fire was fantastic; the staff were exceptionally helpful. The first night we got there we asked the concierge about a ghost tour we wanted to do. She took care of everything. She suggested the tour she thought was the best for what we were looking for and she called to reserve a spot for us. She also got us tickets for the trolley for our historic tour. Her suggestion for where we should eat dinner was excellent. All this at no extra charge. Very helpful and you can tell she enjoys her job.

  The sleeping rooms were nicely appointed and clean. The Inn's facade is reminiscent of colonial days (Georgia was the 13th colony) and is situated on a famous square. The Inn is located in a residential area, which was perfect for my group because it was quiet. The made-to-order breakfasts were tasty. Cold tea and baked goods when we arrived and a breakfast that was excellent compared to the rubbish served at most hotels. I liked the location.   After a long & late train trip from FL we were greeted by Sade. Her wonderful smile, friendly & warm attitude and her enthusiasm greeted us. She was able to answer our questions & give us directions to our restaurant. So we had a fabulous first impression. It was fantastic stay! - Without exception the staff were welcoming, friendly, attentive, well- trained and delightful. There was a complimentary buffet in the early evening with free beer or soft drinks, which was a nice surprise. The breakfast is $12 and well worth it. We had delicious omlettes cooked to our own specification and everything else you could possibly want for breakfast. The room was very clean and pleasant. Our stay here was very enjoyable.
